Forum rules. It's taken me years to be able to properly recognize, understand, and explain the challenges I face on a daily basis and to realize that they aren't problems that everyone faces. I too am feeling unlike myself lately and it's just really bothersome because who can help me find myself more than myself? So its scary to not feel like yourself mentally intelligence or emotionally even. I just feel out of it. I'm going to blame the stress and worry but feeling this way only causes me more stress and worry I never really have taken meds before.

Immense stress bring about brain fog, but it's quite possible that your meds can be playing a role in your predicament. In my case I have been really forgetful and not as sharp in my thinking. I have actually made a small list of the things that I have misplaced I used to be very organized. I despise feeling this way! Feeling yourself and happy is very important however so I would speak with your doctor or psych about it.

Sometimes we might not think of ourselves as being under presure or stressed. I remember when my mum or dad was asking me to get something from the fridge so I went up to the fridge and opened the door then I forgot what I was going to get for them, even though it was only 20 seconds ago they asked. I'm probably putting half the blame on my mind as I tend to go through a lot of rituals in the mind and maybe that's what made me forget.

Always good to investigate further to find out what's causing the issues, If I was to make a guess which we should never really do I think it could be just tiredness and hoping it should pass with time but by all means please do mention about it on your next appointment. Certain questions that might be asked is if you had this for a long time or is it something that's just started recently?

Have you had this for a long time Elf? One important thing to remember and keep track of is, you know yourself best, does this seem so out of the blue, do you feel that you are under more stress maybe stress at work? You have been on meds a long time so i don't think it's that, but you could look again at the side effects or speak to your doc.

Can you put memos in your phone for the stuff you have to do at work? Also, think about the best way you learn visual, auditory or kinaesthetic and ask people to show, tell or let you do an example of the thing you need to learn. Don't know if this is helpful. I empathise, and hope you get a bit more clarity soon as i know it feels horrible.
